Good post, and thanks for the Guardian link. Great read there.

”One step forward, two steps back,” McCain in ’08. Does he really think there are enough women who don’t realize they’re being taken, to vote for him?

McCain’s pick doesn’t make him any less of a sexist than he was before. If anything, I’d say it makes him more of one for him to think that there would be enough women who don’t realize they’re being taken, to vote for him.

Pathetic.

Very interestingly written post. I thoroughly enjoyed reading every bit of it. And yes, I agree with Zach that the guardian link made great link too. Thanks from my side too.

Now coming to your post, you were right that though Sarah Palin and not Bristol Palin is running for the Veep, as a mother how can she be so out of touch with the ground realities that need to be critically addressed in teen America like sex education or as you mentioned value-based education. And since she is now a victim of her own misplaced beliefs with Bristol being pregnant, would she have a rethink on that? I guess not. Radicals don't change that easily.

Sarah Palin reminds me of Mother Teresa of Calcutta. Only she happened to be a Catholic nun where as Palin is a politician married to an Eskimo descendant.
Else, both of their views on abortion, life etc are the same.
